Polet Airline's success over the years is largely due to the strategic vision of its General Director, Anatoly Karpov who has steered the company from its beginning. Born on May 7th, 1951, Anatoly S. Karpov since his childhood has been dreaming of becoming an aviator. From 1973 up to present he has been working in the enterprises and organizations of Russian Civil Aviation.
He has gone all the way from the traffic controller to the General Director of one of the largest Russian aviation companies. Anatoly S. Karpov graduated from the Academy of National Economy of the Russian Federation. He received award as "Excellent Worker of the Air Transport" for his work.
In 1997 Mr. Karpov took the leadership in creating the Air Launch Aerospace Corporation - satellite launch system aimed not only at cutting the costs of launch, but also at environmental safety. During the years from 2000, development of passenger took a higher turn. The vision of Mr. Anatoly Karpov being the first-rate carrier of the central region came true and until now growth of passengers is continuing. Thus, in 2003 Polet Airlines carried approximately 7000 of passengers, and by 2006 this number increased by 20 times.The new routes are being opened every year.

The commercial international sales offices are in Munich, Germany, New York, USA, Moscow, Russia and Bejing, China, while the operations and aircraft maintains are based in Ulayanovsk Russia.

European Team
We can proudly say that relationship between clients and Polet Airlines employees and their mutural respect is very strong. Always positive working envirotment is the main factor to overcome any obstacles. Even though company is having offices around the world Polet is trying very hard to rise above and to stay as close as possible to their customers.
In April 2008, Polet Airlines opened the new representative European office at the Munich Airport in Germany. Top officials Mr. Anatoly Karpov, and from Munich airport Mr. Michael Kerkloh, as well as Bavarian officials with Mr. Markus Sackmann welcomed everyone for this special event with arrival of AN124-100 aircraft.
New York office was opened in 2002 in the center of Manhattan, Empire State Building. The main objective is to expand and introduce unique service to the North American and Canadian market. Success came with widely presenting AN-124-100 aircraft.
