Russian Heavyweights Polet Cargo Airlines
have completed yet another successful peace-keeping mission.
Polet’s fleet of Antonov 124’s airlifted a cargo
of specialised equipment from Jakarta to Entebbe on behalf
of the Indonesian peace-keeping contingent. The operation
was completed in seven successful flights and the 615tons
of cargo included excavators, water purification plants,
cranes, bulldozers, and trucks.
Alexey Ozerov, Polet’s Vice President, based in New
York, commented that ”Polet recognises the importance
of these operations and we continue to dedicate a great
deal of time, effort and expertise in support of the peace-keeping
forces and their relief operations.
We are very proud to be associated with these organisations.”
Polet’s successful completion of this latest seven
flight consignment continues to show the close relationship
with the peace-keeping forces that has grown over the many
years of working together.
